This beautiful and vintage collectible is a tea dispenser from North India .

The first Tea Gardens were established by the British East India Company by the end of the 19th century in India. Tea drinking tradition is part of everyday culture in, to meet friends and discuss everyday life, politics over a cup of tea at a nearby tea shop is a common sight.  The dispenser also comes with a handle that makes it mobile, these were used to sell tea in markets by visiting shops or in big weddings and ceremonies.
